This fused citrus oil is redolent with the intense, bright flavor of fresh Mandarin zest. Use it in baked goods such as tea cakes, in dressings, and marinades. It is particularly delicious with poultry and pairs well with Serrano-Honey Vinegar, Cherry Dark Balsamic, Maple Dark Balsamic, Blueberry Dark Balsamic, and Key Lime White Balsamic.

Fused Baklouti Green Chile

From the Barbary Coast of North Africa, this Tunisian Baklouti pepper is rare and unique to this region. This fused oil is the only example of this fruity and spicy green chili olive oil in the world. Baklouti chili olive oil is made by combining fresh, early harvest organic olives with an almost equal ratio of fresh, whole green Baklouti chilies. The two, and only two, ingredients are then crushed together, mixed in the malaxer which fuses the fresh green essential oil of the pepper with the organic olive oil. Baklouti adds a savory, tantalizing kick to salsas, marinades, soups, grilled foods, vegetables and more. Caution: very hot!!

These lemons, are small, and full of flavor, with a thick aromatic peel.

The Greek Lemon has a new name specific to the lemon variety itself! - Interdonato.  We have a letter entailing some interesting historical data on the variety originating in Sicily with notes from the International Citrus Industry ndicating that it is earliest of the Italian varieties! The letter also depicts how this very unique product us made exclusively for VF while also utilizing organic methods (on both citrus and olives) See attached PDF.

Our cold fused garlic is a unique fusion in that we are taking whole cloves of garlic, cleaning them and finally breaking them up in the mill during processing. The garlic cloves are crushed whole with the olives together which produces a fresh and pungent chopped garlic flavor with a green Koroneiki olive finish. The end result is a golden tinted oil from the garlic itself after passing through the decanter. The process is so fragrant, that when crushed and milled, the entire village smells of garlic.
